Media Requirements (Videos and Profile Picture)
Provide direct, public, stable URLs. These requirements apply to both video files and profile pictures.
Mandatory requirements
- Public HTTPS URL (no login, cookies, or referer dependencies).
- Direct file URL (e.g.
.mp4,.jpg,.png), not an HTML page or viewer. - Stability: must remain accessible and non-expiring for at least 30 days after submission (permanent is best).
- No per-IP or short-lived signed URLs that expire within the work window.
If the URL is broken/expired/forbidden/redirected at any time before delivery, the upload is considered invalid. There is no refund for invalid links; you must reconfigure and may need a new paid slot.
Good examples
https://cdn.example.com/videos/launch-spot-1080p.mp4https://static.example.com/assets/profile/brand-avatar.png
Bad examples (will fail)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/view(viewer page)https://example.com/download?id=123(HTML redirect, not the file)https://short.example.com/v.mp4?sig=abc&exp=10min(short expiration)http://example.com/v.mp4(not HTTPS)
Tips
- Test your URLs with
curl -I <url>to ensure 200 OK and a direct content-type (e.g.video/mp4).
Recommendations
- Use a CDN with long-lived URLs.
- Prefer
video/mp4for videos; common codecs supported. - Keep sizes reasonable; very large files can increase processing time.
